How do I get to
the flying field ?
Wings Over
Lathrop is based in Lathrop, Missouri which is about 30
minutes north of Kansas City. The flying field is
located at the Lathrop soccer fields on the east side of
town.

What is purpose
of the Club ?
To promote the
flying of radio control planes and helicopters in a
family friendly environment.
When is
everybody flying ?
Pretty days,
especially Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

How much does it cost to
join Wings Over Lathrop?
$40 for an individual per
year; $45 for a family membership per year.
How much does it cost to
get into the radio control hobby?
As little as $250 and you
can be flying!
Where can I go to get
training?
Wings Over Lathrop has two
trainer pilots and we have a trainer plane available, both
are free with a paid membership.
Do I need insurance to
fly a radio control model airplane?
Yes. AMA insurance is
required to fly solo, but not during training.
What do I need to do to
Join?
