K C Rage Fastpitch Softball
The Kansas City Rage Girls Fast Pitch Softball Organization was founded in 1994 to allow student athletes to participate in competitive sporting events and learn proper sportsmanship.
The Kansas City Rage has fielded teams from 10U-18U at all levels of competition including B, A and Gold. All of the managers and coaches volunteer their time and work tirelessly to raise funds and gather corporate sponsors to allow girls of all economic situations to be involved.
In our first fall season our initial team did not win a game going 0-4 in their first tournament and 0-8 in their first competitive league. The very next spring our 2 teams went 16-0 in league play and each were awarded the good sportsmanship trophy.
Over the past 14 years we have witnessed hundreds of girls joining our organization, many of which have gone on to play at the collegiate level. Our teams have consistently won regular season tournaments and finished well in post-season National tournaments. In 2002 our 15A team finished the season as the number one USSSA team in the nation. In 2004 our 16A team finished third in ASA Zone Nationals and our 18A team finished 2nd in the RBI Regional in Minnesota.
Team Goal
Our Team goal is competing at a Nationals, whatever we have to do to get there, we will do. Our individual goals are to prepare each girl for playing at the highest levels, high school and ultimately college.
