Since I have a journalism degree from CMSU I still plan on writing a best seller. After subbing for 8 years I just recently got a "real" job selling advertising for the Lee's Summit Tribune. I have taken a hiatus from Nursing and am working full-time at The Lathrop Bank as Asst. Cashier and Administrative assistant. I came back to Missouri in 1997 and divorced and then met and married my current husband in 1998. We live in Pleasant Valley and are very happy. We have been married for 9 years now and he has 3 children that are almost all grown. I work downtown Kansas City and have for the last 7 years. My brother and sisters still live in the metro area and all together we have given our parents 12 grandchildren. I haven't been in contact with many people from Lathrop, but am anxious to get back in touch with classmates from 1991.
Katherine (Hutton) Sweeney	1972	cswe...@kc.rr.com	I've been married to Craig Sweeney for 16+ years now. Craig is an attorney/prosecutor and I am a homemaker. I subbed for 10 years, and hated it. Students are sent off to school now with no more manners or brains than God gave a crowbar! I have 2 children from my previous marriage; Zac is 22, lives in Columbia and works as a chef, and Heather is 21, lives in Riverside and is a tattoo artist. We enjoy traveling through the U.S. and doing home improvements.

Retired 2008 from the Air Force (AF) Reserves with 11yrs active duty and 10+yrs as a reservist. I’ve worked the pass 11yrs as a Senior Principal System Engineer supporting global US Intelligence organizations operations. My spare time is spent with the family, hunting, fishing and trading the stock market. Christy has her masters in math and has taught for NASA, Old Dominion University and high school honors math. But now she is a stay at home mom and trades the stock market.

I am married to a wonderful man who is a University librarian and lawyer. I live in San Angelo, Texas and teach low-socioeconomic/high minority/at-risk/gifted and talented and honors students high school geometry. I also serve on Mathematics Committees for the Texas Education Agency concerning graduation level testing. I have been doing this for 12 years and love every minute of it....

Chris, who is originally from Kansas, has never lived in a small town before but he loves living here in Lathrop. We both work in Plattsburg at Heartland Truss. We have three children; Christina (14), Jordan (12), and Melanie (7). I am currently working full time and going to school full time so with that and the kids' sports and school we are very busy!

Last 18 were in a chemistry lab at a nuclear power plant. Needed to re-group so I moved back to Lathrop 2002. Selling real estate and starting a picture framing business.

I have 3 children, Curtis, 21, Shelby, 16, and Spencer, 13, who has cerebral palsy and has been a blessing in my life. I am a paramedic and work at Raytown full time, and have 2 part time jobs also working as a paramedic. I am also a grandma to 19 month old, Derek, who has truely been a joy. I love being a grandma.
