Lathrop Lady Mules Drop Close Game to State Ranked Lady Spoofhounds
The Lathrop Lady Mules hosted the Maryville Lady Spoofhounds on Monday night in high school basketball. The Lady Spoofhounds are rated #3 in class 3 and the Lady Mules didn't let that intimidate them. The game was knotted at 27 at halftime, however the Lady Mules could not contain the Spoofhounds star player, Meridee Scott, who poured in five three pointers and finished with 21 points. The Lady Mules were led by Janelle Saling's twenty points (six three pointers). The final score was Lathrop 52 Maryville 61.
