Monday, January 25
 3:52 AM   911    A lady in a Plattsburg apartment needs an ambulance for a nose bleed.
 
8:51 AM  911   It is still slick.  A burgundy red Ford Explorer slid off of Hwy 33.  Driver has a head injury.
 
11:32 AM  Deputy on patrol has found a large sow walking along Brethern Church Road.  The sow does not look like it is feeling well. 
 
11:40 AM  A man driving through Grayson has spotted a black dog that may be abused.  Deputy is routed from the sick hog to the abused dog...the owner of which, is given a warning...as the deputy watched him provide food, water and straw bedding to the dog.
 
12:52 PM   AMBER ALERT for a 7 year old girl from Oklahoma. She is with her step father.  The description of the car.... a rusty, 1992 white,Toyota that has "sheet metal" for a rear window...( Hey...it's from Oklahoma...)
 
1:30 PM  911  There is a large cage in the middle of I-35 at the 35 mm.  There are no animals in the cage at the present time.
 
1:57 PM  Alarm company has a "Non-Medical" Alert for an elderly resident  north of Pittsburgh.  The location of the house key is given to the deputy...but no key is found.  Deputy reports that a large, white German Shepard dog is on patrol in the house and no one is home.  Alarm company speculated that the dog set off the alarm.
 
 2:39 PM    A woman and two men are given their license to carry a concealed weapon.
 
2:51 PM  911  Uproarious laughter is heard in the background. One male, in a group of youngsters, has dialed 911 then ripped the bellowing sound of a flatulence into the cell phone.  The dispatcher, not wanting to raise a stink over the prank, ignored the flatulentor but did record his cell phone number for future reference.
 
6:00 PM   911  Horses are out at Lake Arrowhead.
 
9:16 PM   911  A woman in Lathrop is having severe pain in her right arm.  TCA transport to Liberty Hospital.
 
Tuesday, January 26
12:07 AM   MHP reports a field fire on Hwy J.  Plattsburg Fire is dispatched.  Commissioner Dawson called to warn them of the muddy conditions in the area of the fire.
Fire is out at 1:25 AM
 
9:26 AM   Clay County warns of a suicidal male.. armed with a hand gun..description of him and his pick-up truck is broadcast to all officers.
 
11:05 AM  911   A four year old girl at a church in Gower has had a head-on collision with another child.  The girl is not bleeding but she did pass out.  Gower Fire and TCA are dispatched.
 
12:15 PM  911   Gower Convalescent Centers needs an ambulance for a 81 year old female.
 
1:20 PM  911 Call:  Caller has spotted a silver sedan on I-35...lights are on..trunk is open...things are strewn on the ground...party may be in trouble.   Well, sort of... flat tire...
 
6:10 PM    There is a very dead deer on Hwy116 West the remains of which, are blocking the highway.
 
6:12 PM  There is a very large dog laying on the porch of a house in Lathrop, the body of which, is blocking the front door.
 
9:31 PM    Plattsburg Officer has given a sobriety test to a driver at the corner of Carter and Bush.  The driver flunked. They are now  in route to the jail.
 
Wednesday, January 27
 
12:01 AM   May it be recorded in the annals of history that on this date, in the entire territory of Clinton County... nothing happened.
 
Thursday, January 28
9:02 AM  911 Call:  Wife calls for an ambulance for her 73 year old husband.  He is having severe breathing problems due to the flu.   TCA dispatched.
 
9:38 AM   Brand new dispatcher, Arlie Rayne Hawkins, has arrived...6 lbs, 6 oz...we've been waiting for 9 months.  She'll be fully trained by December of 2031.
 
10:44 AM  911 Call:  At the Senior Housing in Trimble a 75 year old male is having breathing problems.  TCA is dispatched.
 
11:03 AM  911  Caller needs an ambulance for a man who is having severe breathing problems.   TCA is dispatched.
 
1:55 PM  911 Call:  PLANE CRASH !  A huge, green, four engine aircraft has crashed just north of Lawson.  Caller saw it coming in low,  brush the trees on her farm and disappeared over the hedge line.  She heard the roar when it crashed... and it scared her horses,too.  She is driving out into the back of her farm to find the plane.
 
1:55 PM   911 Call:   There were two huge, four engine plane together...may be military aircraft.  There was a terrific noise...but he sees no smoke or fire.
 
1:55 PM  911 Caller  knows it's two planes...he saw them, real low and real loud!
 
1:57 PM   Dispatcher pages out Lawson Fire, Holt Fire, Missouri Highway Patrol, and Clinton County deputies.  She notifies the Caldwell County Sheriff's Department, Ray County Sheriff's Department, Federal Aviation Administration, Tri-County Ambulance and others...
 
2:13 PM  Tri-County Ambulance is staged at "V" Hwy and U.S. 69.   They see no smoke of fire.
 
2:17 PM  Sheriff calls for everyone to go home. There is no plane crash.  It's just the Missouri Air National Guard having a great time in their C-130 Cargo planes....practicing for Afghanistan.. flying low, making noise and scaring the bejesus out of the locals and their camels.
 
3:40 PM   Resident at Perrin said they are back...flying low.  She thought it crashed but then saw it pull up into a steep climb.
 
4:01 PM   Lathrop resident wanted to tell the Air Guard to keep on practicing.  If they get sent to Afghanistan he wants them to be the best trained air crews on the planet...so just "keep on,  keeping on".  Not only that, but he likes the heart pounding excitement when they come by low, fast and loud...makes him want to stand up and cheer !
 
11:08 PM   One vehicle accident on 169 Hwy one mile north of Gower.  A 17 year old female has lost control of her car, rolled it over and is now bleeding from a head injury.  Cower PD and Gower Fire are dispatched.
 
Friday, January 29
9:07 AM  A domestic going on in Lathrop.  Only verbal...12 hour rule invoked.
 
2:04 PM  A domestic at Lake Arrowhead.  Two males, on of which is out of control.
 
Saturday, January 30
12:09 AM   911 Call:  Eight to ten dark horses are standing on Hwy J.  Caller had to do some fancy driving to keep from hitting them in the black of night.
 
5:14 AM   911 Call:  A young mother in Holt needs an ambulance for her 10 year old son.  He is breathing but he is not responsive.  Holt Ambulance dispatched.
 
12:18 PM  A older model car pulled away from the pump at the Travel Express with the hose still inserted in the tank.  The hose ruptured causing a gasoline spill. Lathrop Fire is dispatched to clean up the spill.  The Chief has used diapers in the past for fuel clean-up.  Don't get Pampers...get Depends...it's an older car !  Chief used Dawn dish soap to clean it up.
 
3:12 PM   911 Call:  Kid playing with telephone...adult heard in background chastising the youngster with an emphatic  "Dang it, boy !!"
 
4:44 PM  Plattsburg gas station had a "drive-off"...blue Honda headed west.
 
6:45 PM  911 Call:  Resident in Lathrop:  There is a female in the house that is not suppose to be there.  She's in the basement.
 
8:45 PM  Shots fired, in Lathrop, on Short Street.  Officer reports that there were no shots fired...kids with fireworks.
 
Sunday, January 31
 12:40 AM  911 Call:  There are about eight white and black males in a brawl in the parking lot of a restaurant in Plattsburg. Plattsburg officer, two deputies and a State Trooper are dispatched.
 
 12:58 AM  911 Call:  There are five or more people in a brawl in an apartment in Plattsburg. The possibility of there being a green, leafy substance involved is speculated.  The same Plattsburg officer, the same deputies and Trooper are redirected to the apartment. 
 
2:23 AM  911 Call:  Confused caller did not have an emergency that he could think of.  He had called the telephone operator twice and she had hung up on him.  He just wanted to talk.
 
4:18 AM  911 Call:  Lady in Trimble had her car stolen sometime last night.  Maroon 2003 Dodge Caravan.
 
5:12 AM   The Maroon Dodge Caravan found it's way back home... the son borrowed it.
 
7:33 AM  911 Call: A large brown object has been spotted it the sky over Lathrop.  You can see it by looking east towards the football field.  Lathrop officer and deputy are dispatched. Disappointed officers found no flying objects over Lathrop
 
1:27 PM  911 Call:  A very young girl, way to young to be out by herself, is in the General Store in Lathrop.  The store employees will entertain her until officer arrives.  Lathrop officer arrived and took her back home to the apartments on Concha.... ah-h-h yes...the apartments on Concha...
 
 4:45 PM  911 Call:   House fire in Lathrop...a dog house.
 
7:26 PM  911 Call:  A 78 year old man in Holt is having a heart attack.  Holt Ambulance is dispatched.
 
11:03 PM   911 Call:  The electric power pole one 272nd street is on fire.  Platte-Clay will return to that pole again...the just fixed it a while ago.
